Educational syllabus
TThe school offers all the elements that are envisaged in the plan of study and work, as designed by María Montessori in the appendices of her book "From childhood to Adolescence" and that form the learning structure of existing Montessori Adolescent Communities in the world.
The educational syllabus of a Montessori school for secondary education covers the general curriculum of more traditional schools yet its design is more multi-disciplinary and based on three main pillars:
1.- Opportunities for personal expression through art
2.- Opportunities for full personal development
3.- Education for participation in adult life

Self expression
Personal expression is a fundamental part of every human being and includes oral, written, as well as artistic expression.
Art activates many areas of our brain, some have to do with creativity, talent and expression, but also with the illusion and perception of a sense of uniqueness.
Art, music, and language as self-expression help us to understand one another better.

Psychic development
Ethics, mathematics and language are the disciplines that form the mind, they are there to develop the intellect, the reasoning power and the ability for self-expression.
With the moral education and the developed intelligence in language and mathematical thinking the adolescents can receive the knowledge of their time and place in history and take up their task and move forward toward a better world.

Preparation for adult life
The third pillar of curricular design is the general education that will allow the human personality to freely develop, cultivate the intelligences, and make students become conscious of their reality and aware of their role in society. The main goal is to connect the past with the present, and by implication, move into the future.
It offers a way that moves us forward to a goal of individual development and human solidarity that shapes our thinking toward realizing a positive future for all.
